Mods not downloading steam workshop

[V] Steam Workshop mods subscribed, not installing. Edit: anyone else having this problem, deleting the files in the cache folder and relaunching helped. I recently purchased Complete Edition through steam, trying to install my mods through it. ~150 subscribed, now I got to mods, "get mods" it opens the browser but there is nothing I can do This is an ongoing issue present in many games, but I imagine there's something Chucklefish could do to mitigate it. Basically, even with an internet connection, and access to the steam workshop, mods will not download even if they are subscribed to. The craziest thing is you don't even have to own the game to download from the workshop using this method! Steps: Download SteamCMD - https://developer.valve Subscribed mods at Steam Workshop are not being installed! Personally I think we need to look at getting mods hosted outside of steam workshop, having mods exclusive to steam is going to split the community and ultimately it'll end up being bad for the game. Valve really are a bunch of dicks trying to gate off user made content like that, it's greed pure and simple.

I believe this is something about Steam's server again as in the past, I had trouble downloading the mods list. It used to show up as steam id numbers for the mod folders but Iceman fixed it. Anyone else having these issues as well and is there another way to force the workshop mods to download? if you have any problems and would like any help or advice then please do not hesitate to contact me via youtube. Just thought I would share some advice for an annoying bug with Skyrim and the Steam Workshop not working as intended, as I think it's a common problem but I can not for the life of me find people talking about it. So with the recent British Forces update, I can no longer download any mods from the Steam workshop because for some strange reason the download location changed for the mod files. What I mean by this is that the mods files (.sga files) are usually downloaded to the common/Company of Heroes 2 I have bought games outside of Steam, for example Fable 3, but I want to install some mods for it from the Steam Workshop. I would prefer to use Steam Workshop to install mods, as I don't trust my abilities to install them manually. Plus it's a lot easier to manage from the Steam Workshop. What I tried so far: I have installed and logged into if u login to steam, subscribe to a few mods.then close steam, use the skyrim launcher, it will download the mods. they will all packaged in one bsa file per mod. close skyrim launcher after update, open nmm or w/e mod manager u use, and they are there in the load mod order. close that and go to explorer, and look in skyrim/data and find the individual plugin bsa containing the whole kit and Just a simple list of all of my mods from steam workshop, which I added on here for users who don't use steam workshop. Subscribe to Mods and Maps on Steam Workshop: Subscribe to the workshop content normally. Let the content download to your Steam installation of Unturned on your local computer. If you're going to use the automatic workshop download method described below, you will need to note the Steam Workshop ID numbers for each mod you want to install.
